Job Description

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Fixed Assets and Depreciation: They will calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • General Ledger and Accounts: The Financial Accountant Specialist will maintain general ledgers and various accounts, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Tax Returns: They will prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Reconciliations: They will reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
