About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Coordinator - Duct Banks to join our team at Colas Canada Inc. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Promote a strong safety culture by participating in Health and Safety Planning processes, Toolbox Talks, Safety Meetings, and Site Inspections. Ensure trades/subcontractors/workers adhere to Health and Safety Policies and Safe Work Procedures.
  • Environmental: Be familiar with Environmental Performance Requirements outlined in the Project Agreement. Assist in development of site-specific Erosion and Sediment Control plans with the Environmental team.
  • Quality: Ensure workmanship, materials, and processes are in accordance with Project Quality standards. Promote a strong Quality culture amongst crew members and subcontractors.
  • Planning/Coordination: Partake in Constructability Reviews for interim design package submittals. Actively participate in daily coordination and readiness reviews with the Structures team.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic engineering and construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years' demonstrated self-performing experience in construction field, on large, complex, heavy civil transportation projects.
