Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Physiotherapist to join our team at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. As a key member of our acute care team, you will provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimal physical function and independence.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals, groups, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote client recovery and independence.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and evaluate client progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, families, and other stakeholders to advance services and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the department.
  • Supervise students and new graduates as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time temporary position working 7.75 hours per shift over 10 shifts per cycle. The shift pattern is days with alternate weekends off.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $38.90 and $51.80 per hour. A Remote Retention Allowance is also available, payable on an hourly basis up to an annual maximum of $3,000.
