About this Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Sales Rep to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of HVAC mechanical products to mechanical contractors within the lower mainland territory.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors to drive sales growth.
- Promote and sell a diverse line of mechanical products, aligning product offerings with contractor needs.
- Provide in-depth technical assistance to contractors during product selection, design, and project planning.
- Collaborate with contractors to understand their unique project needs and offer expert advice.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders for mechanical products.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity identification to closing sales and providing post-sale support.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to provide contractors with cutting-edge solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC or mechanical equipment industry.
- In-depth experience with HVAC mechanical equipment, knowledge of their applications and technical aspects.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong relationships with contractors.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to offer technical support and guidance to contractors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with experience managing all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or relevant industry experience.
