Chanian Transport is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our warehouse and transportation systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials, as well as providing technical guidance and support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all computer equipment and machinery are in good working order and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Workforce Management: Train workers in their duties and policies, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure optimal productivity.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required, and ensure that they are delivered to the correct location on time.
- Supervision: Provide technical advice and guidance to 1-2 team members, and ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Experience and Education: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles. A college or CEGEP education is required.
- Work Schedule: 32-35 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication, with occasional French language support available.
