Drywall Finisher

At 6 AM Construction Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces for painting and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:- Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
- Install exterior and interior steel studs
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
- Permanent employment
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week
- English language
