Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Golf Course Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mont-Tremblant. As a key member of our grounds team, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course is well-maintained and looks its best.

Main Responsibilities

  • Tend to the greens, tees, fairways, and rough;
  • Apply fertilizers and fungicides as directed;
  • Lay down peat moss and seed;
  • Maintain flowers and shrubs;
  • Operate necessary equipment for course maintenance;
  • Complete daily reports on equipment condition;
  • Contribute to general course cleaning;
  • Change flags, pins, markers, and other course features;
  • Aerate fairways, tees, and greens;
  • Maintain sand traps;
  • Clean underbrush using necessary equipment (chainsaw, pruning shears, etc.);
  • Water and assist with irrigation system repairs;
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by your supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the business;

Requirements

  • Secondary V or equivalent;
  • Course completion in golf course maintenance would be an asset;
  • 3 seasons of experience in golf course maintenance;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Meet physical demands of the position;
  • Pass a 60% written test and a 60% practical test;
  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration;
  • Capable of managing stress;
  • Good judgment and autonomy;

Working Conditions

Full-time day or evening shift, potentially including weekends.

Compensation

Class salary 9: $23.44, $25.70, $28.24
