About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at BURGER KING RESTAURANTS. Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Prepare and cook food items, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and ensure that all food and supplies are properly stored and labeled.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a standing position for extended periods.
