Nurse Clinician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team at BioScript Solutions. As an Infusion Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and services in our clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer specialized IV and injection therapies to patients.
• Receive and review physician's orders to ensure accurate and timely treatment.
• Perform patient assessments to identify potential health risks and develop effective care plans.
• Initiate IV lines and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Provide patient education and support on medication management and self-injection techniques.
• Monitor patient conditions and document observations according to our clinic's standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in ongoing continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current registration in good standing with the provincial licensing body.
• Training and experience in the preparation and administration of medications via all routes.
• Excellent intravenous skills and experience with CVADs are highly valued.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Able to read and interpret technical instructions related to client care and assess clients visually and auditorily.
