Medical Laboratory and Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory and Imaging Specialist to join our team at Whitecourt Healthcare Centre. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for performing procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze biological specimens, conduct X-ray examinations, and ECGs.
- Prepare patients, perform venipuncture and micropuncture, and maintain routine equipment.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed and supplies are maintained.
- Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
This is a temporary part-time position with a 0.30 FTE. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call. The minimum salary is $35.45 per hour, and the maximum salary is $46.69 per hour.
