**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business strategy to senior management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
  • Manage litigation, disputes, and other legal proceedings involving the company, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
  • Oversee the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement effective legal strategies, aligning with the company's business objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in an in-house counsel role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and business law.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
