Tiles Installation Expert

At All Purpose Tiles Installers, we are looking for a Tiles Installation Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing surfaces to be covered, mixing and applying adhesives, setting and aligning tiles, cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles, packing and removing excess grout, and replacing damaged tiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of old adhesives or other substances that may interfere with the tile installation process.
  • Adhesive Application: Mix and apply adhesives according to the manufacturer's instructions to create a strong bond between the tile and the surface.
  • Tile Installation: Set and align tiles to ensure a level and even surface, making adjustments as necessary to achieve a professional finish.
  • Tile Cutting and Fitting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using a variety of techniques and tools to achieve a seamless fit.
  • Grout Application and Removal: Pack and remove excess grout from the joints between tiles, using a variety of techniques and tools to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Tile Replacement: Replace damaged or cracked tiles with new ones, ensuring a seamless fit and finish.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
