Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with healthcare teams, and contributing to the development of healthcare services in the Northwest Territories.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Contribute to the development of healthcare services, including program planning and evaluation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety activities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Northwest Territories Registered Nurses Association
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the Northwest Territories
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
