Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance of the building under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on boiler systems, pumps, ventilation systems, electrical, plumbing, water and sewage systems, and other general maintenance work.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
  • Perform administrative duties and respond to all departmental emergencies.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of boiler systems, pumps, ventilation systems, electrical, plumbing, water and sewage systems, and other general maintenance work.
  • Knowledge of maintenance safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Professional and helpful demeanor both on the phone and in person.
