**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Production Line Specialist to join our team at one of our facilities in Canada.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity requiring 40 hours/week on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate must be legally eligible to work and currently residing in Canada.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, assembling, and operating equipment on the production line.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic to moderate troubleshooting on equipment is essential.
You will also dismantle, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed for processing.
Additionally, you will retrieve raw product and feed it into the Hopper, assist in creating and executing daily autonomous maintenance inspections to prevent machine downtime, complete required paperwork, and work with the computer (SAP) program.
Furthermore, you will utilize your mechanical abilities, including basic use of hand tools and a basic understanding of mechanical systems (steam, water), to move through PLC screens.
You will need to make decisions, anticipate problems, and make appropriate changes while establishing priorities in your work area.
Lastly, you must be able to operate a forklift (Reach, Counterbalance, Walkie).
**Quality & Food Safety Skills**
You will thoroughly, accurately, and neatly complete forms for HACCP & Quality Assurance, including bringing a product to the lab for testing.
Product quality checks against customer and internal specifications are also crucial.
You will maintain the cleanliness of areas of responsibility and ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
**Health and Safety**
You will wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements at all times.
Lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 70 lbs, overhead reaching, gripping with both hands, prolonged standing, and climbing stairs are some of the physical demands of this role.
**Communication, Cooperation & Continuous Improvement Skills**
You will communicate effectively in English, reading, writing, and speaking.
Positive interaction and information sharing with Associates and Salaried Team members are essential.
Active participation in Work Group meetings and cross-shift communication are also key aspects of this role.
**Salary Information**
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
