Job Overview:
The Accounts Payable Administrator will support site staff with the accounts payable process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain user accounts, passwords, and security access to accounts payable databases.
- Communicate with internal and external clients to ensure workflows and access meet client needs.
- Perform scheduled activities and run periodic reports.
- Import data sync files from accounting systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide training and support to system users.
- Create and maintain application-specific user procedures and documentation.
- Identify and recommend solutions to reduce errors.
- Facilitate regular cheque runs and ensure delivery according to instructions.
- Pre-screen and coordinate new vendor setup requests.
- Interface with vendors and managers to qualify vendors.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a high-volume, numeric, typing, or data entry position.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
