About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Capstone Infrastructure Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing intermediate-level wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong interest in the infrastructure sector, particularly in renewable energy projects. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and/or composite skills is required. In the absence of experience, a certificate of completion from an accepted Wind Technician program of equivalent scope with demonstrated field experience will be considered.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Safety First: Act as a safety role model, encouraging and recognizing others for completing safe acts, and intervening when unsafe acts are being practiced.
  • Quality Assurance: Demonstrate and promote integrity, strong initiative, and a no-compromise focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis.
  • Maintenance and Installation: Perform intermediate-level wind turbine maintenance and/or installation tasks as assigned, including proficient operation and use of tools and basic turbine equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Tasks: Effectively gather information regarding turbine performance/issues, diagnose, recommend, and implement solutions up to intermediate routine issues.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Promote a strong team environment through assisting teammates in accomplishing goals, mentoring lower-level technical staff, and supporting change initiatives.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions will vary depending on the type of work being performed and will involve both indoor and outdoor tasks. From time-to-time extended hours as well as late evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holiday work will be required. Workers will be required to work at heights and in an environment that may have exposure to electrical, rotational, fluid pressure, and associated hazards.
