Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at SRS Property Mgmt Corporation. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office buildings, commercial spaces, and private residences.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfection and Polishing: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas; clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Trash and Debris: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Windows and Walls: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Office building, commercial building, private residence, hotel, motel, resort, shopping centre, or mall.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. English is the primary language of communication. Experience is an asset.
