Advanced Machine Learning Engineer for Digital Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team at NearSource Technologies and drive data-driven decision-making across our digital platform.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is between $180,000 and $250,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced machine learning models to improve user engagement, drive product adoption, and inform business decisions. Your expertise will be crucial in designing scalable machine learning pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering key ML-powered features for our Digital Customer Platform.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn, and other relevant frameworks.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines to support product development and evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Design to ensure effective use of ML models for business impact.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience working on ML-based solutions, from concept to production.
- Proficiency in machine learning libraries and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Generative AI.
- Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for text analysis and understanding.
- Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Java).
