Job Overview

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in Toronto, ON, Canada. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of key data elements across the organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to identify key business metrics and develop strategies to track them effectively. They will be responsible for documenting critical data elements, establishing policies and practices for consistency, and providing guidance on inventory best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work with SCM teams to determine how key business metrics are tracked, including their critical data elements and definitions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of key dashboard functionalities, data sources, and user guidelines
  • Compile and maintain data dictionaries for key data elements and monitor compliance
  • Assess data alignment and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues
  • Develop and implement programs with IT and SCM stakeholders
  • Own the SCM landing page for key reports, ensuring all current metrics are represented and links are active
  • Establish requirements for new reports or insights and support testing as needed

Inventory Data Responsibilities

  • Understand key Inventory measurements, data attributes, and dashboards; advocate for standardization and provide training to users
  • Establish and maintain Customer/Site Inventory profiles through consultation with users or analysis
  • Initiate, develop, and lead projects to control inventory and achieve inventory plan

Requirements

  • Three to six years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Management, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management
