Director of Operations - Central Pharmacy Services

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to oversee the management of our Central Pharmacy Services (CPS) operations site in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our central fill solutions, which support pharmacies across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all site operations, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver business objectives and drive operational excellence
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive business growth
  • Accountable for the site's P&L, forecasting, and resource planning

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare or manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of delivering Continuous Improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Ability to align and lead the organization while upholding company values
  • Experience building strong partner relationships and managing multiple priorities in a regulated setting
