At Remitly Inc., we're reimagining global financial services to give customers access to more of the services they need, no matter where they call home. We're looking for a talented Software Engineer II to help us lead aspects of this mission.

Your Role
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Design and implement solutions for complex problems using full stack technologies (React, NodeJS, Go, Java/Kotlin).
  • Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the user experience and usability of our Auth platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
Your Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working across multiple languages, microservices, technologies, and systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD and advanced deployment strategies.
