Job Title: Community Residential Facility Liaison

At The Salvation Army, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Residential Facility Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders into society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with offenders, parole officers, and community mental health teams to ensure effective case management and support.
  • Provide individual counselling and assistance to offenders, focusing on their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
  • Collaborate with the community parole/case management team to ensure seamless support and services for offenders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including Resident Action Plans and progress reviews.
  • Participate in training and upgrading opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Education:
  • Post-secondary education in criminology, psychology, or social work.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of The Salvation Army's philosophy, standards, and tenets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
