Job Title: Truck Dispatcher - Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at STAR CANADA 5 TRANSPORT LTD. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate work records and logs
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and communication with drivers
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring optimal route planning and resource allocation
  • Monitor and follow up on issues with work orders, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing delays
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work hours, fuel consumption, and other expenses
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring seamless execution of logistics operations

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field (an asset)
