We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Director to join our team at Simply Smart - Child Care Centre & Montessori/Iroquois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to staff in all areas of the classroom.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the centre.
  • Assist in a classroom, understanding ratios and requirements.
  • Identify needs of the classroom regarding setup and materials.
  • Respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide feedback to staff based on observations.
  • Assist with parent/teacher interviews.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and coworkers.
  • Participate in school special activities and celebrations.
  • Provide quality tours to new families.
  • Ensure centre cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Maintain high level of professionalism.
  • Implement health and safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Registered Early Childhood Educator designation.
  • At least 2 to 4 years of experience in a childcare environment.
  • Experience working with children in a Montessori environment is an asset.
  • Standard First Aid CPR C+
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Immunization up to date.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00/hour to $24.00/hour
