Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Andrea's Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable and clean sleeping environment.
  • Stock linen closets and distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services to our guests.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

Our housekeeping staff work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They are required to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. A high level of physical stamina is required to perform these tasks.

Language

The primary language spoken in our hotel is English.

Work Schedule

Our housekeeping staff work a standard 35-40 hour workweek.
