Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Clerk/Cashier at our Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Big River, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legendary service to customers through various touch points and communication channels
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility
- Suggestively sell add-on products in addition to liquor, including confectionary, fresh foods, and hardware
- Stock, arrange, and rotate liquor merchandise on shelves, stock beer coolers, and set up displays
- Operate electronic cash registers and other electronic devices to process sales
- Perform opening and closing procedures as required
- Embody our values of Honesty, Innovation, Responsibility, and Respect
Requirements:
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Liquor industry and retail sales experience, especially in the CRS, considered an asset
- Serve it Right Certificate considered an asset, however training to be provided to successful applicant
- Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do
- Well-organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- Ability to lift and load products: extensive physical labor is required
- Flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required
