Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Web Application Engineer to join our dynamic team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and technical solutioning on existing and new web-based projects
  • Ensure integration between our mobile web solutions and the host iOS client app
  • Review and follow Technical Design Documents for guidance on the implementation developed by the Team Lead
  • Provide technical guidance and support for onboarding new team members
  • Ensure that established team best-practice standards are followed (e.g. code properly instrumented for logging / PR code review process followed)
  • Build a deep knowledge of our web stack, iOS apps, private libraries and build processes facilitate troubleshooting / code fixes
Requirements
  • Three years of experience writing code professionally, good software development practices
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
