Job Summary

Rodan Energy Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of projects within our Nuclear Generation Facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing oversight, input, and recommendations for managed system items affecting the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and identify items within the managed system that are not applicable to our organization and can be exempted from.
  • Provide technical evaluations and advice, solve problems, and coordinate technical work in support of commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the facilities.
  • Assess, evaluate, and recommend initial disposition of problems, including further review and investigation, abandonment, or proposed solutions.
  • Prepare submissions, including cost justification and financial evaluation, and recommend adoption of proposals.
  • Coordinate project staff efforts and work groups to meet project objectives and create a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of physics, engineering, mathematics, and chemistry as related to design requirements, stress, materials, and total system performance.
  • Experience in the design, development, and operations of a nuclear generation facility, including planning and developing engineered solutions and evaluating/verifying components and materials.
  • Experience in project management, including managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating project staff efforts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the nuclear industry or on decommissioning projects.
  • Knowledge of industry processes and procedures.
  • Experience working at a nuclear power plant or in a similar industrial environment.
