As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out aircraft inspections and maintenance tasks in accordance with Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTO) and established work instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out aircraft periodic inspection, Conditional Inspection, Supplementary Inspection, Modification and Special Inspection in accordance with CFTO and established work instructions.
- Attend training and information sessions as required.
- Keep Lead Hand informed on technical problems, schedule problems, additional requirements, and technician's welfare.
- Follow Tool Control rules and regulations.
- Consult reference documentation such as CFTO, work processes, and other related documentation.
- Complete aircraft inspection sheets, forms, aircraft sets, registers, and other documentation properly and as required.
- Utilize safe working practices.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the Lead Hand or Team Supervisor.
- Conform to the administrative and technical regulations of the establishment to which they are assigned, with regard to health and safety, flight safety, documentation and records, working instructions, and process specifications.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada 'Reliability' status and/or Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Location not accessible via public transportation. A car is needed.
