At Ontario Inc., we are seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, they will be required to prepare tax returns, maintain general ledgers, and post journal entries. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. They will also be proficient in accounting software and have experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare cheques for payroll
- Reconcile accounts
- Prepare tax returns
- Maintain general ledgers
- Post journal entries
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in accounting software
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
English
