Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Kiewit. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, including 3 years of leadership experience directing scheduling functions. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop resource-loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, and critical approvals.
  • Assess the impact of design changes and schedule slippages, and inform company management and clients of all schedule updates.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology to develop and maintain critical path logic networks.
  • Provide guidance and direction for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
  • Prepare standard progress reports for each assigned project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, including 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in project controls software such as Excel, Primavera (P6), and other company-specific software.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
