Job Summary:
As an Appliance Sales Specialist at Home Depot of Canada Inc., you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in the Appliances department. This role requires a strong ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service support to customers in the Appliances department
- Assess customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
- Work with customers to determine their level of expertise and needs
- Answer customer questions and escort them to merchandise in other sales areas
- Assist customers with special orders and install sales
- Communicate with Inventory Associates and Freight/Fulfillment Team regarding ordering and pack-out/pack-down issues
- Attend product knowledge and training seminars
Requirements:
- Minimum time in position and performance management code requirements of V2 (or P3 in previous system)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of and adherence to Home Depot policies and procedures
- Proven ability to close the sale
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Successfully pass the validated Sales Associate Test
- Successfully complete any required Training
