Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Live-in Caregiver to join our team as a trusted companion and educator for a child. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care, creating engaging educational activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and companionship to the child, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the child's interests and abilities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment, adhering to all necessary health and safety protocols.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Establish a daily routine that promotes a sense of structure and stability.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., early childhood education, special needs care).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in a live-in capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with family members and other caregivers.
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (optional but preferred).
  • First aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $45,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour workweek. Additional benefits include:

  • Overtime pay: Paid at a rate of 1.5 times the regular hourly wage.
