Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 3-6 month contract position with our client, a leading company in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as strong skills in MS Excel.
About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Month-end close and assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Assisting with budgets and forecasting
- Implementing and maintaining reporting procedures as well as other ad hoc financial reporting
- Very good with MS Excel (pivots and v lookup), large data manipulation
- Strong understanding of Finance (AR, AP and some reporting)
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of finance principles and practices
- Experience with Oracle or similar financial software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
This is a contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $ CAD 50-$70 per hour, depending on experience. Our client offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
