We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Sessional Faculty member in the Liberal Arts department. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, designing learning activities, and assessing student performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach undergraduate courses in English, Sociology, Human Geography, Philosophy, and Psychology
- Design and implement learning activities that promote student engagement and success
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Provide academic advice and guidance to students
- Engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance academic priorities
- Graduate degree in a relevant field (PhD or terminal degree preferred)
- Post-secondary teaching experience (strongly preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with LMS platforms and educational technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
- Competitive pay of $4,000 CAD per course
