About the Role:

The Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright/Electrician) is a critical position that requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. As a member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring smooth operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, using your expertise to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain production equipment, performing repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and operators to ensure accurate records and effective communication.

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education and a valid trade certification (Electrician or Millwright).
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bonus qualifications: experience with PLC diagnostics and welding.
