About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a seasoned Senior Guidewire Rating Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on Guidewire Rating solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop detailed business specifications.
  • Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to drive out business requirements and ensure alignment with development teams.
  • Translate business needs into clearly defined requirements for insurance policy administration projects.
  • Develop requirements documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, data flows, and report mock-ups.
  • Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations.
  • Build strong relationships within business units and support functions to understand business needs.
  • Work with project collaborators to define project scope, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Advanced experience with Guidewire Rating solutions.
  • Proven track record of creating clear, concise work that reflects a deep understanding of business needs and software functionality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience operating and working with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills.
Working Arrangements

Cognizant offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 2-3 days a week in a client location in downtown Toronto. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer various wellbeing programs to support our employees.
