Job Summary:

Trillium Recycling Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and relay important information.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Will train.
  • Permanent employment with 30-44 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
