Security Team Lead

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Team Lead to join our team at Peel Memorial Hospital. As a Security Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities and job performance of the Security Guards assigned to your shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training to Security Guards
- Ensure all site staff adhere to Paladin Security and hospital security policies and procedures
- Ensure all Security Guards have received mandatory training
- Motivate staff and recommend commendations to the Supervisor
- Ensure proper documentation is passed onto the Supervisor/CSM
- Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff
- Handle dispatch duties, including incident call taking
- Document and investigate security incidents and complaints
- Communicate concerns/issues with Supervisor/Client Service Manager
- Minimum two years of hospital security experience required
- Minimum one year of supervisory/team lead experience required
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Emergency/Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (WSIB Provider)
- Immunization Record - MMR, Varicella, and TB
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum two doses required)
- Preferred post-secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy
