The Opportunity

As a Senior Automation Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases. You will work closely with our SDET team to build and maintain automation frameworks and develop scripts to support QA scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team of SDET engineers to build and maintain automation frameworks and develop scripts to support QA scenarios.
  • Work with other SDETs to help debug and troubleshoot issues found around test scripts.
  • Produce and evaluate code to build automated testing programs.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, product and business teams to ensure quality is built into our software engineering using test-driven development.
  • Monitor test results and report on the quality of development.
  • Be the liaison operating in a technical leadership capacity with functional QA leads and back-end java engineers to design and develop an automation framework on foundational principles.
  • Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure tests are run automatically as part of all build and deployment phases.
  • Use innovation and automation, when possible, to provide sustainable solutions and scalable performance test results.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on QA automation.
  • 8+ years of working experience in design and development of RESTful APIs using Java, JSON, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • Must have good experience working as a SDET (software development engineer in test).
  • Must have good experience in automation testing.
  • Prior working experience in the retail industry and knowledge and exposure in Supply Chain Domain with a focus on warehouse management and digital.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in relational databases with emphasis on SQL query language and stored procedures.
  • Senior-level knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the ITIL Framework (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,500 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for our discretionary annual performance-based bonus and benefits that support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
