The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that our food service department runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes developing and maintaining schedules, managing inventory, and coordinating with staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Supervise and Train StaffThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional customer service and prepare high-quality food. This includes providing ongoing training and coaching to staff, as well as conducting performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to prepare and serve high-quality food. This includes ordering supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
Ensure Quality ControlThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverages meet our high standards for quality and presentation. This includes conducting regular quality control checks, addressing any issues that arise, and working with staff to ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
Maintain Accurate RecordsThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key metrics. This includes tracking sales data, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements- Education
A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment is required.
Physical DemandsThe Food Service Supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
