Borea Construction is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical progress of our projects and collaborating with our project managers to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all work activities on site, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with our project managers to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Supervise project facilities and site development, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage technical documentation, including estimates, contract documents, and payment claims.
- Ensure the completion of deliverables at the end of the project, according to the progress of the work.
- Collaborate with our site health and safety advisor to develop and implement site safety programs and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Participate in the realization, implementation, and application of the quality plan, conducting regular internal quality audits and supporting the preparation of execution procedures.
- Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering bachelor's degree or college degree, or any relevant experience.
- Member of a Canadian Association of Professional Engineers.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar functions.
- Good proficiency in Suite Office.
- Fluent in English.
- Geographical mobility.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in teams and communicate both verbally and written.
- Excellent management, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and leadership.
- Administrative rigour.
- Ability to adapt to high-stress environments and weather fluctuations (construction site).
