About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our team at Shared Health. As a Medical Officer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • Work Setting
    • Work in a hospital setting, providing staff support
  • Consultation and Diagnostic Services
    • Act as consultants to other physicians, providing expert advice and guidance
    • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Hold licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills
    • Develop expertise in clinical medicine, with a focus on neonatology and pediatrics
  • Experience and Adaptability
    • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
