Head Chef for Menu Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new menu items and ensuring that our existing menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and taste.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will have a strong background in menu development, with experience in creating innovative and delicious food concepts.
- You will work closely with our cross-functional team to identify trends, consumer preferences, and nutritional requirements to inform menu decisions.
- Lead kitchen operations, including planning menus, estimating food requirements, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine portion sizes and costs to optimize menu profitability.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet demand.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to promote excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with flexible hours (35-40 hours per week).
- Fluent English language skills.
