Your Qualifications

  • You hold a Grade 12 education or equivalent and have proven experience in the mechanical, automotive, or collision trade.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the automotive, rental car, or collision industry.
  • You possess communication or telematics experience.
  • You have technical automotive experience configuring and installing parts, accurate documentation abilities, and quality assurance processes.
  • You have a clean driving record, with an annual renewal required.
  • You're familiar with Vancouver geography.

Bonus Skills and Experience

  • You have experience in a startup environment.
  • You hold a Level 1 or 2 automotive or electrical apprenticeship or an equivalent program.

Job Responsibilities

  • You'll acquire, transport, and dismantle total loss vehicles, cataloging parts accurately using fleet software.
  • You'll handle parts removal, storage, and delivery to repair vendors, while assisting with EVO-specific parts and supplies required by Field Staff.
  • You'll conduct Batcave repairs, maintain collision and storage areas, update repair triage, and support In-Field Tech tasks.
  • You'll advise on mechanical repair quotes and coordinate with repair coordinator and vendors on recommended labor and effort times.
  • You'll perform internal replacement car fleets, including decal removals and installations.
  • You'll plan, implement, and maintain storage systems for Batcave and collision areas.
  • You'll assist in troubleshooting vehicle problems, performing minor repairs, and maintaining electric batteries.
  • You'll work with managers to document, test, diagnose, and repair in-vehicle telematics, damages, and perform light maintenance tasks.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $53,098.56 to $66,373.08, based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. You'll also be eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
