Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at West Fraser Holdings Ltd. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects.

About the Role:

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials from one location to another.
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs to meet project specifications.
  • Participate in demolition activities, including removing debris and salvageable materials.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and tools to prevent damage and ensure efficiency.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to create a safe working environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in temperature and weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work at heights when required.

Compensation Package:

  • $60,000 per year, based on experience.

Requirements:

  • No degree or certificate is required, but relevant experience is an asset.
