About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about maintenance and operations. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for providing superior maintenance and administrative services to internal and external customers, with a focus on maintenance technical personnel assigned to operational areas within the manufacturing facility. You will also manage the monthly maintenance budget, plan work orders or facility repairs, and perform plant and/or maintenance department day-to-day reviews to ensure that the facility is operating reliably and safely.

What You Will Do
  • Develop work routines in a manner that assures personal safety and the safety of others
  • Develop hands-on knowledge and expertise of production equipment, parts, functions and processes through observation and engaging with employees on the production floor
  • Partner with Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors to review work requests and determine feasibility and safety controls for work to be performed
  • Communicate with production team and maintenance staff to resolve chronic and repeat failures with equipment, provide status updates on maintenance efforts, and gather feedback
  • Participate in production meetings with Maintenance Managers, Planners and Operations Managers to review upcoming work requests, weekly scheduling, and outage planning
  • Obtain certificates of insurance and document sign offs from outside contractors as required
  • Identify parts required for necessary maintenance efforts (preventive maintenance, breakdowns) and procure goods and services such as raw materials, parts, equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Prioritize work order requests to approve and reject, review complete work orders, and produce schedule for the next day/week
  • Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure there is no conflict with production schedules
  • Maintain information and records to prepare or edit purchase orders, filing posting information, and tracking spend
  • Manage, maintain and use computerized maintenance management system (JDE) work order system
  • Enter work order data in support of maintenance activity
  • Backup for Maintenance Manager and Inventory Clerk as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
