Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at Symbiotic Group. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and unit testing RESTful web services in Java and Spring Boot using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design, code, and unit test RESTful web services in Java and Spring Boot using Azure technologies (Web Jobs, Key Vault, storage, SQL, Service Bus).
  2. SPA Web Interface: Assist in the development of a SPA web interface built using the ReactJS framework.
  3. End-to-End Solutions: Design reliable, scalable, and performant end-to-end solutions based on requirements and specifications.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in end-to-end testing (QAT, UAT).
  5. Issue Resolution: Investigate and correct reported issues against existing software.
  6. Performance Improvement: Recommend performance improvements including tuning or process changes.
Requirements:
  1. Technical Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience developing applications using Java 11, Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring JDBC, Spring Security), WebAPI, JUnit, Mockito.
  2. Strong T-SQL Skills: Strong T-SQL coding skills, understanding Execution/Query Plans, transactionality, and locking.
  3. Experience with Azure: Strong experience in building scalable single-page applications deployed in Azure (Web Jobs, Key Vault, storage, Service Bus, SQL, Application Insights).
  4. Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate highly complex and ambiguous situations.
  6. Communication Skills: Ability to work independently with little supervision and operate within a self-organizing scrum team.
