We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Uncertified Occasional Teacher to join our team at Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board.
About the Role:As an Uncertified Occasional Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting students in the classroom, providing supervision, and responding to issues under the direction and supervision of the Principal/Vice Principal.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students in the classroom and provide supervision as needed
- Respond to issues and concerns in a professional and respectful manner
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Completion of a 4-year university degree program or nearing completion
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents
- Ability to ensure the safety and security of students
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player and follow instructions
